First part happened back in late spring days, while my mind was wandering around an idea for a new crochet square that was so lightweight and enough large to allow a quickly work progress, probably to use it in a new crochet blanket.

Yes, I made this simple crochet lace square just for fun. Only six rounds of nothing, but it took me longer than I thought to clarify the idea and bring it to the simplest possible. Sometimes what is simplest needs more endeavor.

As I've been thinking these past days, flowers should not only be for spring or summer, so I've crocheted these little motifs for winter: 8-petal flowers, perfects as coasters, plus a square motif that I'm going to use in a future project.
