I made these Mini Doilies just because. Well, maybe because I wanted a break from so many festive events. I needed to stay by my own, sit down and relax for a while crocheting something that was quick and easy.
Hice estos Mini Doilies sólo porque sí. Bueno, quizás porque deseaba descansar de tantos eventos festivos. Necesitaba sentarme y desconectar durante un rato tejiendo un proyecto que fuera rápido y sencillo.
All is fully simple:
10 cm diameter aprox

I've been taking some free time to organize my yarn stash during this season holiday. My yarn skeins were mixed in different boxes and places, so it didn't allow me to realize how much there was. What I discovered was a surprise: I got a huge amount of Anchor Freccia thread, specifically skeins in colors that I show you below. Using all them requires a large crochet project and will take considerable time, but I'm not afraid of the challenge. I've realized that I really wish a long-term crochet project and you know that winter evenings go a long way for that.
Durante estas fiestas he estado aprovechando algo del tiempo libre para ordenar mi material de ganchillo. Tenía todos mis ovillos muy mezclados en diferentes cajas y lugares, lo que no me permitía tomar consciencia de cuánto hay. ¡Me he llevado algunas sorpresas! Una de ellas ha sido comprobar que he ido acumulando una enorme cantidad de ovillos de hilo Anchor Freccia, en particular de estos colores que os muestro a continuación. Usarlos requiere un proyecto de ganchillo de grandes dimensiones y llevará un tiempo considerable, pero no me asusta el reto. Me apetece mucho un proyecto de ganchillo de largo desarrollo y las tardes de invierno dan para mucho.
The idea for this new and large crochet project is pretty mature, although I don't want to reveal anything about it yet because I always make changes on the fly. For now I can tell you that I'm going to start working with the four thread colors. I'll keep you updated on my progress.
La idea para este nuevo proyecto de ganchillo ya está bastante madura, aunque aún no quiero desvelar nada al respecto porque puede que efectúe cambios sobre la marcha. De momento os puedo decir que voy a empezar a trabajar con los cuatro colores de hilo que os pongo a continuación. Os iré mostrando el avance de este proyecto según se vaya produciendo.

2020 was a terrible year for the enter world. However, that same year I crocheted flowers. In January I started my challenge #Crochet_Flowers_2020_Challenge which consisted of crocheting and publishing a crochet flower a week, a total of 52 crochet flowers throughout the year. As a culmination of challenge, I'd publish a virtual mural composed of all the crochet flowers for the challenge. And here is my #Crochet_Flowers_2020 challenge virtual wall composition at last! 2020 fue un año terrible para el Mundo. Sin embargo, ese mismo año yo tejí flores. En Enero inicié mi reto #Crochet_Flowers_2020 que consistía en tejer y publicar una flor de ganchillo a la semana, 52 flores a ganchillo en total a lo largo del año. Como colofón a ello publicaría un mural virtual compuesto con todas las flores de ganchillo del reto. Por diversos motivos esto último no había sido posible hasta ahora. ¡Así que aquí está al fin mi composición mural del reto #Crochet_Flowers_2020!

This season time has also been a time to rest and connect with nature. Going to the mountains to breathe pure and clean air is something that we really wanted when contacts between people continue to be restricted due to the pandemic. I hope you have had time for it too.Estas fiestas han sido además un tiempo para descansar y conectar con la naturaleza. Subir a la montaña a respirar aire puro y limpio es algo que nos apetecía muchísimo cuando los contactos entre las personas se siguen viendo restringidas debido a la pandemia. Espero que vosotras hayáis tenido tiempo para ello también.
2021 has turned out to be a terrible year and not just because of the global pandemic. We have lost two people in our family, not due to Covid-19, but after long illnesses. After that, a necessary silence and a distancing from the things I usually did was imposed. It has not been possible for me to be here in the blog or online through the networks. I couldn't do it any other way. Well, now I wish to face this New Year 2022 with new strength, enthusiasm and renewed hope in future, recovering my space again.
I hope and wish that you all are well and healthy together with your beloved ones. Please, take care of you.
2021 ha resultado ser un año terrible y no sólo debido a la pandemia mundial. Hemos perdido a dos personas en nuestra familia y no debido a la Covid-19, sino tras largas enfermedades. Después de ambas pérdidas se impuso un silencio necesario y un distanciamiento de las cosas que habitualmente solía hacer. No me ha sido posible estar presente ni en el blog y en contacto a través de las redes. No podía hacerlo de otro modo. Este Año 2022 que comienza deseo encararlo con nuevas fuerzas, ilusión y esperanza renovada, recuperando otra vez mi espacio.
Espero y deseo que todas vosotras os encontréis bien y saludables junto a todos vuestros seres queridos. Por favor, cuidaos mucho.
