Summer recap

Hello, ladies! Summer is ending and it's time to recap, don't you agree? Thank you for being here, in this little time when I sit down to recapitulate to myself  past season, now that everything seems to have returned to its normal rhythm.

¡Hola a todas!

It was my intention to get everything super organized and ready for this new season beginning. However, I have the impression that what I've been crocheting in summer seems a bit erratic: many projects or ideas for new projects that go in all directions.
In my past post I already advanced you a crochet project more typical of autumn than summer: a very easy and free pattern to make Lavender bags to perfume our wardrobes. So far so good, but I fear that the rest of my crocheting summer world runs the risk of appearing a little mixed-up. Judge by yourselves!
1. On the one hand, I've been attracted by the cotton yarn of vibrant colors, something very typical of summer, don't you think so? The truth is that past summer I went a little to my own, crocheting for simple pleasure and doing exclusively what I wanted.

Si no, ¡juzgad vosotras mismas!

It's cotton yarn from my remaining stash. I've crocheted piles of these squares with full color circles, but I'm going to keep in secret a little longer the final project to which they're going to ;o)

3. I've also renewed my "Spring coastersin a new range of colors reminiscent of harvest and vintage. What do you think? I think they could be called "Harvest coasters" ;o)

4.- I liked this color range so much that I kept working with them and made a new circular crochet motif whose pattern you'll find very soon in the Pattern Library.

5.- It was also  time to visits to my local yarn shops that were filling with the beautiful fall colors. And I found this beauty in one of them...

... and, of course, I couldn't resist the temptation to start testing it :o)

7.- Summer is always good time for slow and tasty readings. Two well-known allies on my table (or my bag) this time.

8.- Anyway, we spent a very calm holiday time here, there were some relaxing escapes to relax and reflect, family leisure and pleasure time of doing different things together.

Pleasant escape to paradise 🌺 Happy to disappear into the lush details of @ritzcarltonabama seaside scenery.

White frangipani, 🌸 but I like its scientific name much more: “plumeria alba” 👌

Amazing blue sky over a calm blue ocean. Don’t you just love the summer, when everything around you turns bright and blue? 💙

Beautiful  mornings, curiously silent, with white and glorious noon and beautiful nature treasures left on the table 🌸

Shades of blue 🌊 and that glorious sunlight 🌞 sparking and dancing over the waves.

Hibiscus. 🌺 When I was a child I thought that the way to write it was “ibizcus” because I believed that it came from Ibiza. I imagined a kind of ideal marriage between hibiscus flower and Ibiza Island. Don’t ask me why. 🤣 And this ideal marriage became a suitable divorce later, when I discovered the proper way to write it and that it really come from East Asia. Anyway, its flowers are always a wonderful splash of color in world wide gardens in front of which nobody can keep unresponsive 🌺 Don’t you agree?

Well, autumn has come, but only the calendar says so. The weather, however, continues to be hot and sunny here. Nevertheless, the timetables and routines have well adapted well to new season as well as the expected meeting with colleagues and friends, also virtual ones. Your blogs are filling with new ideas and wonderful projects and that's great. I'm so glad to read all of you again.

Well, and this is all ... for now 😉
Meanwhile, be happy and enjoy all the good things that surround you 💕

Happy and creative fall, ladies!

¡Feliz y creativo otoño a todas!
